Seawater becomes drinkable: revolutionary technology from a Ukrainian-Polish startup
Ukrainian-Polish breakthrough in solving a global problem. The Hydratico startup is a joint project of Ukrainian and Polish innovators who strive to make water accessible to everyone. Their device for desalination of seawater based on solar energy could be a solution for millions of people in the world who suffer from a lack of drinking water.
A global problem. More than 2 billion people do not have access to safe drinking water. 97% of the world’s water resources are seawater, unfit for consumption.
To make it possible to effectively convert seawater into drinking water, Hydratico offers an innovative solution. The company has developed a compact device that desalinizes water using vacuum evaporation and solar energy. This technology allows you to reduce the cost of the process and make it environmentally friendly. How the technology works: the device heats water in a vacuum, where evaporation occurs at low temperatures. After that, the purified water condenses and becomes suitable for drinking. Powered by solar energy, the device is completely autonomous
The main advantages of this startup are accessibility, as the development is suitable even for isolated regions and humanitarian crisis zones. Autonomy: works without the need for a power grid. Environmental friendliness: minimal use of resources and no harmful emissions. The global potential of Hydratico technology will help solve the problem of water shortage in regions where this issue is acute, such as Africa, South Asia and island countries. It can be used in humanitarian missions, resorts and coastal towns.
Ukrainian inventors continue to amaze the world with their breakthroughs, solving large-scale problems of humanity. Cooperation with Polish partners has made the project even more ambitious.
