Sustainable travel in Ukraine
The Glossary Foundation organized an ecological trip to the Khmelnytskyi region. This trip was the Foundation’s first step towards sustainable tourism, which aims to benefit tourists, nature, and local communities.
The trip, which brought together various guests, friends, and like-minded people, took place in the Khmelnytsky region, one of the most eco-friendly regions of Ukraine. This initiative of the Glossary Foundation was aimed at unlocking Ukraine’s tourism potential without harming the environment.
The itinerary featured a visit to the 18th-century Orlovsky Palace in Maliivka and a cleanup of the local park. Here, the participants crafted landscape objects from collected brushwood and old branches. They also visited the Bilous family estate and learned about ethical farming practices. Throughout the tour, the focus remained on local plant-based cuisine and environmentally friendly practices, such as the use of reusable water bottles and eco-cosmetics.
Valeria Guzema, Ksenia and Anton Schneider, Olga Rudneva, Alyona Masiutkina, Jova Yager, Bohdan Logvynenko, and other guests joined the Glossary Sustainable Tourism trip.
This project stands as a testament to the Foundation’s commitment to unlocking Ukraine’s tourism potential in a way that respects and preserves the environment.
