Star Flowerbed for Earth Day

Star Flowerbed for Earth Day

The Glossary Foundation held an event in celebration of International Earth Day at the National Museum of History of Ukraine.

The event under the slogan #SavetheSpring brought together eco-activists and celebrities, including Olympic medalist Anna Rizatdinova, TV presenter Olga Freimut, singers Lida Lee and NiNO, designers Svitlana Bevza, Ksenia Schneider, and Olena Reva. Together, the celebrity gardeners planted and presented the central facade flowerbed to the museum.

This initiative aims to inspire Ukrainians to create similar green spaces in their cities, promoting a culture of environmental stewardship aligning with the global goal of Earth Day.

The National Museum of History of Ukraine, a place of historical significance and beauty, was deliberately chosen as the venue for this event. The Star Flowerbed was designed to complement the existing landscape design featuring sustainable plants such as linden, white turf, cypress, and Cossack juniper. These plants were selected for their resilience in the urban environment and their year-round decorative appeal.

The Glossary Foundation has taken on the responsibility of taking care for the plants reinforcing its commitment to environmental protection and promoting everyday eco-activism in Ukraine.

Join our initiative! Your contribution will help implement this and other important projects that bring Ukraine closer to sustainable development and quality education for every child.
