Generation Betas are children born after 2025 who will grow up in a world where the climate crisis is no longer a hypothetical threat but a reality. Their childhood will fall at a time when the consequences of global warming will become even more tangible: extreme heat, rising sea levels, water scarcity and deteriorating air quality. While today’s Generation Alphas are already experiencing climate change through more frequent natural disasters, Generation Betas will live in a world where adaptation to new conditions will become the norm. They will be born into an environment where the transition to renewable energy sources, changing eating habits (such as reducing meat consumption) and new environmentally friendly technologies will become an integral part of life. But the question is, will humanity have time to change its habits enough to give Generation Betas not only challenges but also opportunities? Can we ensure their future with clean water, safe housing and sustainable ecosystems?

What we do today—reducing emissions, environmental education, transitioning to sustainable technologies—determines not only the standard of living of the Beta generation, but also the very fact of its existence in a safe world.
